Fight or Flight

I can't get enough of Dark Souls.

Dark Souls is an insanely difficult RPG and the spiritual successor to the PS3 game, Demon's Souls. I like to think myself a savvy gamer, and made it through my first play through of the first DS without dying once. Dark Souls, however, has proven itself the more difficult game.

"PREPARE TO DIE" is the game's tag-line, and it is a very apt description for what this game has to offer. It's proved to be more difficult than its predecessor for me, as I've died twice already and am not even close to halfway through.

This is the Hellkite Dragon that guards the Undead Parish, and the only monster so far I have chosen to avoid rather than confront. One day, though, I will take him down!
